So i am a salesman for hhgregg. Regional manager is John Cool.

I am having just one issue. The hhgregg policy on open box items is still the 30 day return or exchange and one year manufacturer warrenty. But john is telling us that we can not offer 30 days return or exchange and we *** not offer the one year manufacture on open box. Now i am the person to do things by the hhgregg policy.

The hhgregg way. And doing it john cool's way is actually making issues for customers as well as myself. And when they wanna buy something open box because of the price and i say you do not get the return or warrenty, then they leave. I understand that it can be a good way to sell psp but really making the sale is what matters the most.

And when delivery team messes up there product during delivery and then they want to return it and we say they cant, they always say hhgregg sucks, im never shopping with yall ever again. Manufactures do not want to hear that associates are telling customers that they dont get that one year warrenty. I love hhgregg and working for hhgregg. I just want to do the hhgregg policy and not worry about getting fired over it from my regional manager because he told me not to do the hhgregg policy.

Please look into this issue. This is an anonymous message.

Open box products and displays are to be sold as is/all sales final per company policy. John is correct on this.
